Thank you for visiting Smack Down Sauce. It all started when I was a teenager. My wife’s “Pop” taught me the ways of old Florida whole hog pit style cookin' and sauce makin'. I’ve been cookin’ and makin' sauces, rubs and BBQ ever since.

Being a Florida native from Cocoa, BBQing for family and friends is when I am most happy and I dare say, so are they! I believe experience, time and passion has helped me produce the best sauces you’ll ever use. These recipes have been family and friends favorites for many years, so, I decided to bottle it.

As a certified BBQ judge, I have had the privilege and, at times, the displeasure of trying hundreds of sauces over the years. So, I make sure only the finest ingredients are used. You’ll agree its outstanding flavor will have you putting it on pork, beef, chicken, seafood and all of your favorite foods.
